COPAG Session at the AAS Winter Meeting

The 243rd American Astronomical Society (AAS) Meeting (aka the “AAS Winter Meeting”) will take place in New Orleans, LA, from 7 – 11 January 2024. If you’re planning to attend, please arrange to arrive early, to attend the Cosmic Origins Program Analysis Group (COPAG) session on Sunday 7 January from 9a – 3p Central.

The COPAG session will feature talks about the various COPAG activities, updates from the Science Interest Groups (SIGs), information about the new initiative for Cosmic Explorers Student SIG, report on the Ultraviolet (UV) Technology for Habitable Worlds Observatory from the UV Working group, and discussions about Precursor Science Gaps for NASA’s future flagship missions.

There will be a Joint-PAG session (includes COPAG, PhysPAG, and ExoPAG) where you can learn about NASA’s Cosmic Origins (COR), Physics of the Cosmos (PhysCOS), and Exoplanet Exploration (ExEP) Programs. The community is welcome to actively participate in the Q&A session to learn more about future missions and opportunities.
